As we look back on an extraordinary year, we’re excited to launch the 2025 end-of-year campaign, “Operation Pawsible.”
This year, VCAS reached milestones we once only dreamed of: a record number of veteran-dog placements and the opening of our first expansion office in Cincinnati, allowing us to serve veterans across both Central Ohio and the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State region. Because of your support, more veterans than ever found hope, healing, and connection through the unconditional love of a companion dog.
In 2025, 27 veterans were matched with their canine companions, our highest number of placements to date. That is more than 50 lives saved. Each pairing is a story of resilience, comfort, and renewed purpose. When a veteran connects with their companion dog, it’s more than a bond; it’s a lifeline. Together, they face the silent battles, the sleepless nights, the moments of doubt, and the journey toward healing.

- $350 – Supports 7 weeks of professional companion-dog training.
